Why You Should Do push ups!

There’s a reason push ups are used as the primary exercise to evaluate someones strength and health. To join the military you need to pass a push up test, to become a cop you need to pass a push up test, even in gym class at school you get evaluated by doing push ups!

But why push ups?

It’s because push ups are the ONLY exercise you can do ANYWHERE and that uses every muscle group in your body. Primary muscles for pushing and secondary muscles for stabilization.

It’s also the only exercise that optimizes bodyweight strength and resistance strength at the same time. It also improves your agility, coordination, flexibility and core strength which is why you see many martial arts incorporate push ups.

There are also 100+ push up variations allowing you to progress as you get stronger. For example a beginner push up variation would be knee push ups, and an advanced variation would be Handstand Push Ups, and you can do numerous variations in between to work your way up! 

So that being said, start leveling up your push up game and become a versatile athlete!
